In the early 90's happy hunting went on hiatus for most of a decade. Tim played with Lava Sutra and later with the Chamber Strings, while Matt played with the Hushdrops. Private Jet is Matt's solo album. Recorded in 1996 and 1997 at Stroppy and Plutone Studios in Chicago with the help of Tim, the Hushdrop's John San Juan (keyboards, vocals) and Joe Camarillo (drums, vocals) and drummer Don Yanek. Private Jet contains versions of the happy hunting classics "Phantom Limb" and "Look Me Up On Your Way Down" and Ten more Matt Parker originals.
